Our Founder, Margaret Morgan
When Margaret Morgan first arrived in Ireland, she felt a deep, almost cellular sense that she was home. It’s that feeling — of belonging and quiet magic — that inspired Ireland Awaits.
Originally from the U.S., Margaret spent 13 years living in Ireland with her Irish husband, where their three children were born. She now works from her Boston-area office, helping travelers experience Ireland with both the insight of a local and the curiosity of a guest.
Her background includes work in education and leadership development with organizations such as Harvard University and The Networking Institute — experience that shaped her gift for creating meaningful, memorable experiences.
Today, she partners with local experts, guides, and makers across Ireland to design itineraries that feel personal, genuine, and deeply connected. Because for Margaret, travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s how it makes you feel, and how you carry it forward.
